Original vintage posters: Raymond Guerrier

Born in Paris on 3 January 1920, Raymond Guerrier was a French painter associated with the School of Paris. He settled in Eygalières, in the heart of the Alpilles, in 1955, and died in Avignon on 5 April 2002.
His painting always stayed close to nature: stone, water, fruit or flesh were so many starting points, transposed right down to the very substance of the paint. A self-declared heir to the old masters, he nonetheless refused to paint like them.
