Vérigoud
Once upon a time, in Boufarik, Algeria, around 1950 — a small town 35 km from Algiers, nicknamed at the time the "orange capital" — a certain Mr. Goudovin developed a new sparkling drink: Vérigoud.
Vérigoud is the Frenchified version of "very good".
Vérigoud positioned itself as a competitor to Orangina, and worked with the best advertising graphic designers, notably Savignac.
Algerian independence and the consolidation of the brewing industry led to Vérigoud's disappearance. What remains is nostalgia, and the talent of Raymond Savignac, present in this poster.
